A little late, but it's still Sunday where I live, so "this weekend" still counts.
Hello everyone, I bring you my 3rd animation, this one of everyone's favorite flier... flyer...? Dah, Rainbow Dash.
As you can see I've found a few method of animating frames that is a hell of a lot more convenient than what I was doing before, plus it gives me more freedom to color. The downside is that the lines look a tad sketchy, but really I prefer it this way. The lines in my last 2 animations were far too perfect for the artstyle and when I colored the frames, sometimes the lines would get erased for some reason. Quite annoying.
I dunno, what do you guys think? Should I go back to lining with pencil or stay with the brush?
p.s: I feel like this is my best overall animation, but I'm not all that happy with how the hair color came out. I may make a V2 in the future like I did with Fluttershy --------------------------------------------------------------
++Answers to questions you may have++
Q1: "What the heck's that thing on her left cheek?" A1: "What it look like, silly? It's Rainbow's trademark Cutie Mark!"
Q2: "Wait, it's on her face? So did you, like, forget to draw the others' Marks...?" A2: "No, you just can't see 'em."
Q3: "Okay then. So why is Rainbow's on her face?" A3: "Because reasons!!..... Toilet paper!!"
Heh, heh, in due time. I've actually already got a clip planed for Twi, but I'm not gonna start on it 'til August. Thanks for the suggestions on Pinkie. I was actually kinda stuck on what to do with her.
I can imagine that going well.
